The Neurology department is responsible for treating neurological problems of adult patients in Shaare Zedek. Patients suffering from primary neurological disorders or from neurological complications of systemic diseases, hospitalized in the hospital, are examined by the neurological consultants. Electrophysiological studies (EEG, EMG, NCV, BERA, VEP) are all performed in the Neurological Institute. Areas of particular interest are: neurological problems of adolescents, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders of adolescents/young adults, neurological problems in the population of young women, epilepsy, headaches, and strokes of all etiologies.
