The Gynecology Department contains the Gynecological Surgery Unit, the Division of Gynecological Oncology, and the High-Risk Pregnancy Unit. The Gynecology Department provides treatment to women for a variety of gynecological problems, both benign and malignant, as well as women in their first trimester of pregnancy, the stage when most problems arise. This cutting-edge department employs the full range of modern technological solutions, including hysteroscopic surgery, laparoscopic surgery and radical surgery for malignant tumors.
Research Activities include:
Obstetrics and perinatalogy - maternal-fetal medicine (CS, epidural, pre-eclampsia, abortion, IUGR, fetal monitoring, placental and umbilical blood flow, twin pregnancy complications). Human reproduction and endocrinology (oral contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy, polycyctic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), APLA, assisted reproduction, ovarian stimulation and IVF) . Gynecologic oncology (BRCA, various gynecologic tumors). Urogynecology (urinary stress incontinence, vaginal prolapse).
