Built around a core of distinguished researchers in eight Institutes, the Faculty of Science is committed to tackling the basic questions of the cosmos, from the tiniest sub- atomic particles, to the mysteries of living cells, organisms and ecosystems, to the free- wheeling movement of the stars. The Faculty's dedication to excellence in both basic research and teaching has fueled countless international partnerships, and has been instrumental in placing the Hebrew University at the very forefront of the world scientific community.
