A new project for the Bio-Med Community in Jerusalem
The Internship Program is intended to assist students living in Jerusalem gain professional work experience in the local labor market. With a focus on academic enrichment as well, interns participate in an additional six to eight weekly hours of specialization programs throughout the academic year. Students are encouraged to establish contacts in their field of research. Serving mutual interests, Jerusalem based companies can tap into a well trained and motivated workforce. This can especially be of help in areas where the existing staff is insufficient.
Internship positions are offered in a wide variety of fields with over 120 places available such as; the Knesset, government ministries, the Municipality of Jerusalem, strategic consulting firms, associations, cultural institutions and more.
Survey conducted recently among 400 graduates of the project - shows that 57% of the students received job training at the end of the project in their area of expertise - and even stayed to live in Jerusalem!
Starting in the present academic year, BioJerusalem in conjunction with the "New Spirit" organization have launched a new internship program specializing in Bio-Med.
